Week 5
Master Your Mind

If you’ve come this far, take a moment to acknowledge your commitment to the practice and to yourself. It’s so easy to get caught up in the busyness of life, so being here now, reflects both your focus and persistence which are crucial ingredients for your growth and transformation.

This week you’re going to learn one of the most transformative aspects of mindfulness which is, how you relate to your own thoughts. This new perspective will reduce the impact that worry, perfectionism, self doubt, and many other unhelpful mental habits can have on your life.

In this weeks meditation practice, rather than resting your attention on the breath the body or sounds,

you’ll be turning your attention to the stream of thoughts themselves. This is an advanced mindfulness practice and it can be a little confusing when you start out.

It introduces you to a completely new way of understanding the nature of your own mind. So be patient with yourself and remember that learning new things can be uncomfortable and frustrating in the beginning.
