As you practice it, you’ll find it becomes a lot easier to actually apply in the moment when strong emotions arise. It’s a very helpful practice which helps you in staying present with your emotions, rather than avoiding them, indulging them, or being overwhelmed and consumed by them. As a busy parent with a toddler I’ve found it an essential tool in being a more mindful mama.
